Sunday morning breakfast at my house. I don't know the calorie count but this is better than what I used to eat. Visit my blog for details on how I cooked this.
I try to use only Organic eggs. My very favorite eggs are Egglands Best, but they are so expensive, and in my house we eat a lot of eggs, so I get the eggs in this video at Costco. I hope they are really organic like the carton says, but whatever. I scramble the eggs and I use Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I don't use salt when I cook because my family puts hot sauce on everything and that is just salt on top of salt. I do use garlic power and pepper though.
The best turkey bacon, well that my kids will eat, is Louis Rich. Which I buy at Costco of course. I cook it a pan. In a hurry people cook this in the microwave and it is pretty good out of the microwave. But, I like the old fashion pan on the stove way to cook it.
Grits are oddly hard to cook. The directions on the box are not good for my family so I don't really measure, I go by sight. But basically boil water, add desired amount of grits, I put a little milk, butter, yes real butter, a dash of sea salt, and black pepper.
Thanks for watching, see you next time.
